Donors
to America's Athletes with Disabilities can support and
continue their dedication through planned giving
opportunities. Such a gift will ensure America's Athletes
with Disabilities to sustain its programming into the
future. The planned giving program enables you to plan for
your future as you strengthen our future.
America's
Athletes with Disabilities Planned Giving Options
Charitable Bequests
One of
the most common planned gifts is through a will, whereby the
donor chooses to name America's Athletes with Disabilities
as a benefactor and he/she does not part with their assets
during their lifetime. This lasting legacy supports a
commitment to America's Athletes with Disabilities. If the
donor wishes to make a charitable request in his/her will,
the AAD EIN number is 11-2765283 and the suggested language
could be: I bequeath the sum of $_______________to
America's Athletes with Disabilities,
Inc. to be used for general charitable purposes.
Charitable Gift
Annuities
With
the charitable gift annuity, donors receive a guaranteed
fixed income for life and also support the work of America's
Athletes with Disabilities. The charitable gift annuity has
considerable tax benefits for the donor while it provides
revenue for AAD.
Charitable Trusts
A
charitable trust is a legal trust has a charitable
organization as its beneficiary. The charity receives the
remainder after a beneficiary of the donor’s choosing
receives income for a specified length of time and then the
assets then go to the donor’s beneficiary.
Life Insurance Gifts
A donor
may choose to name America's Athletes with Disabilities as
the beneficiary of any individual life insurance policy.
The donor will get an estate deduction for insurance
proceeds after his/her death. New and/or existing policies
can be used to designate America's Athletes with
Disabilities as the beneficiary.
